Brand new garden space. Tilled up a 20' x50' of my back yard.
Last spring we cut down 6 huge walnut trees that were shading 90 percent of the yard. Not to mention all the junk walnut trees drop. I also fear the juglone that these trees emit into the soil.
My first time planting sweet corn and pumpkins, so we'll see what happens.
