Combination of round 3 foot height raised planters, and 1 foot height raised beds. Both of which have discarded wood stumps and branches as a base 2 feet down, with a 50/50 mix of compost to native soil (which is 60+% sand). Will be amending this year with 4 inches of peat moss mixed with coir brick coconut shred (lasts longer than peat moss), and mulching with 3-4 inches of wood chips like usual. Keeps the moisture level even, and keeps nutrients from draining awsay too quickly.
The open areas are ground level, due to having to use the rototiller twice per year.
Leaves dug in every fall. Refuse going to compost for the next spring.
