Moins parfumé mais plus juteux, le melon jaune Canari se consomme de la même façon que les variétés cantaloup en gardant à lesprit que sa chair a moins de tenue. Dégustez-le frais par exemple avec du jambon cru, en lamelles sucrées-salées, en salade de fruits. Vous pouvez également préparer de délicieux cocktails, sorbets et confitures à base de melon. Le melon jaune canari se conserve plusieurs mois au frais en cave ou au garage.
La culture du melon est trop ancienne pour certifier de son origine, il était cultivé dès lEgypte antique, avant dêtre adopté par les grecs puis les romains de lAntiquité. Des variétés peu sucrées sont cultivées en France dès le IXème siècle pour la consommation en légume. Le nom melon vient du grec melo, qui signifie pomme. De forme ovale et légèrement plus gros que le charentais, ce melon est principalement cultivé dans la péninsule ibérique. Il doit son nom à la peau de ses fruits entièrement jaune. |

These are by far better than sungold tomatoes on flavor imo. They are non cracking, high yielding, long lasting and tasty! New to the market created by PR Seeds, these things are awesome! Blue type Indigo tomatoes contain remarkably high levels of anthocyanin. This is a result of old school breeding techniques. This is not a gmo. Anthocyanins are powerful antioxidants that are similar to the ones found in blueberries and other superfoods. Besides that, The flavor is what I look for when I grow yellow cherry types. I really love the yellow tomatoes. These are f2 seeds meaning the first cross was made, the seeds were saved. the cross was grown out as f1's. From there the f1 tomatoes grow out, and the seeds are saved as f2s. these are f2's. They are not 100% stable but they will grow some cool stuff pretty much simillar but could be a little off. they are worth the grow, if you keep saving your favorite tomato plant, over time the genetics will stable. who knows what angle you could take these too if you find a little variation. save seeds!." |
